I have wanted that skink in your profile picture/avatar FOREVER! Is it yours?

I think you have a spider problem... Have you called the bug man? =P

What kind of spiders?

Ummmmm...I think it's safe to say that's an understatement. :p

So there are obviously lots of spiders in those various containers. Do you have any other invertebrates, such as scorpions or centipedes?

For now we're focusing on spiders. Once we get more established and the business up and running we may expand to other invertebrates.

I'm curious as to what spiders you have as well. OW? NW? I recently added to my collection a couple of A. Avics, a B. Boehmei and should be getting a P. Irminia in the next week or so.

Oh my! That is ALOT of spiders! I think I would have a heart attack if I stepped foot in that room!

Okay, but if you collapse, please fall away from the cages....I don't want you accidentally spooking one of the moms causing her to eat her eggsac.:D

WOW! That is amazing!
It seems like it takes me forever just to tidy up and feed my 20. I couldn't imagine trying to care for that many!
What species of sacs will you be getting?

Right now the moms are guarding the following eggsacs: 4 indian ornamentals, 2 ghost ornamentals, 1 Mexican fireleg, 1 Indian Violet, and a Mexican redrump is laying her eggs as I type this. We have a number of other females that are gravid as well. I'll post pictures this weekend as I'm pulling a few of the eggsacs to incubate them myself the rest of the way.

I have 32 T. "blondi" (These are sold as goliath bird eaters, but they are a bit different than the goliath bird eaters in the hobby a decade ago), 2 Theraphosa apophysis (Pink Foot Goliaths) and 1 Theraphosa blondi (The original Goliath Birdeater). So, 35 that are commonly sold as goliath birdeaters....unless you count the babies I hatched last year....but since I'm selling them I don't count them.

Though there may be some confusion since most large tarantulas from North and South America are called bird eaters. I figured you meant the really big ones.

Sounds good. Those salmon pinks are fast growers....prolific as well. Eggsacs with well over 1000 slings are not uncommon.

ya im talking about the ones that get to be the size of a dinner plate those are the wones i want

Well, convince your wife that getting a goliath bird eater is the best step for the both of you and then let me know. I still have about a dozen babies left. :D You can raise them from little fuzzball spiderlings.
