My usless fish tank decor has found a new home. This is probably her most favorite thing EVER. You wont find her anywhere else. It has a hole in the bottom, back and as you can see, front. Very large on the inside.

Im not sure what Baldy is exactly so i cant say much there. But she is a SHTCT as far as im aware. Her tail is still filling in, only 5months so theres plenty of time. The goats have to be my favorite animals and i know i will own some when i get older. They just love to love, although les is a bit over protective of me(we have backstory) and wont let the other goats near me too often, i still get about 1hour of play in a day.

In that case she has baldy potential, she still has those little black marks left on her head, i bet she will lose them in a few sheds.

I ment to ask you Sam. Is your short-finned betta, the wild type (betta imbellis) or does it just look like one? Did you know that if it is, males can be housed together in a big enough tank? They will flare their gills when they encounter each other but will almost never fight. Kind of like what two female betta splendens do when they meet. BTW, nice other pictures as well. Bob

Hate to break it to ya but nope, thats what is called a plakat, more appropriatley a Halfmoonplakat. Plakat is the original betta splenden fin type. Then they were bred long into VT and then into the other fin types, THEN they took Halfmoons and bred them back to plakats to achive a short finned plakat, who quite frankly looks nothing like an imbellis XP to a trained eye, but i understand. I am quite aware of that species though, im am trying to find Betta dimidiata.

Thats a imbellis, and thats it, no color changes. HOWEVER they did breed imbellis to our splended to achive all the diffrent irredesents in our fish. Such as my copper, nero up there. THEN they too the fish with the most irredesence and bred them togather to make dragon scales wich brings us back to my HMPK XD. Fun times, fun times. BTW, most wild bettas including betta splenden are capable of society tanks. Betta splendens isnt even a agressive betta by standard in the wild.

Just going from memory, Sam. Probably been 30 years since I've kept them. The picture quality wasn't sharp enough to see the irredescence of the scales and if the fish were old, sick, or deformed the body structure would be a bit different. A lot of the brilliance would be lost. Bob

Goats are my favourite!
We have pygmys and dwarfs (my grandmother was one if the first people in Canada to breed dwarfs).
The babies kill me, they are very very bad.
