Definitely hypo. Depending on what happens to it as it grows, it may be able to be called tang if the color in the banded area persists, or possibly pastel if the pale color persists.

looks quite young atm. so may change a bit as mentioned above. but either way its a hypo.

Definitely hypo. A lot of hypo snows look like this as their yellow starts to fill in. BUT without hatchling pictures that definitely peg the animal as just black and white when it hatched, I'd consider it just a hypo (possibly tangerine, possibly pastel) until it's old enough to prove out.

Thank you everyone for your help! This is my first leo. Im totally addicted now...want to get more! Compared to others ive seen he is so mellow. Loves to be held..although i try mybest to leave him be. I am going to call the guy i bought him from and find out who his parents are and what morphs. Just to make this thread complete. He is a small breeder i know. I guess i could have called him first. But like to get some expert opinions. lol.

If you want to breed him I would breed him to a Non Snow so you can prove him out.

Very new to all this and was thinking of breeding her when the time comes. Was actually browsing around for a good mate. I want to learn more about morphs first though. And, was actually going to ask what morph i should breed her with if she was yours? By the way, Its still hard to tell but i believe its a female.
What do you mean by prove him out?

prove him out, means to prove he is carrying a genetic trait. e.g. if you think an animal is het for albino, to prove it you could breed him to an albino and if you get any albino hatchlings then you have proved that the first gecko IS actually het for albino.
