Hey guys, can you send your prayers or positive energy to my family this weekend?

My step-grandmother has been battling various forms of cancer for the last 15 years. It started as breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes, chemo and a double mastectomy added a lot of years to her life.

She was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday where they discovered that her kidneys and liver (where the cancer is now) had completely shut down. They've moved her to hospice and expect that she'll probably pass on in a couple of days.

My dad is flying back from a counseling seminar in Nashville tonight to be with my stepmom and her father who I suspect isn't going to do very well after the shock and denial wear off. They've been married for over 60 years so I can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for him.

I just wanted to say thanks for all of your positive energy! We just got back from dinner and visiting/viewing service with the family. Everyone was in pretty good spirits so that was nice to see.
