Power Outages

The place where I live is at risk of a power outage, and about a foot of snow. I will be out of town for the next few days, and I am wondering if he will be alright and if there is anything I can do for my crested gecko.

Is there any way you can bring your gecko (maybe in a temporary 5 gallon tank) to someone's house while you're gone? Or else, can you get some 40 hour heat packs and ask someone to go in and install one if the power goes out?
