Projects? Snow, tang, aptor, diablo blanco...

Hey guys I was wondering what projects I could attempt with these gecko morphs... (that will produce bright babies with no dark pigment.(

Tangerine X

Tangelo X

Aptor X

Snow X

I think another pair I might get is going to be a tremper het. diablo blanco and breed tham to each other to make a couple diablo blancos. What would the percentage of the babies be?

Oh, and if I have a tremper het. diablo blanco... what other morphs could I breed the tremper side to, to make some other morphs? (if that makes sense)

I dont wanna be rude or nothing, and cause another big forum fight like what happened before but its good your asking questions but its good to research first. I think someone mentioned in your other thread to keep it simple and not bother with Hets. till ya get the hang of breeding. Dont breed this and that to get what you want. Breed morphs you like personally. I like the snows personally most so i have a small group of them, But second comes the SHTCTB and the tremper groups. I dont care for las vegas albinos or blizzards(NOTHING against them just not my kinda morph/geckos) so i dont breed them nor keep them. See? You want bright babies go with SHTCTB crossing to together makes super nice bright babies and you can work on making a longer/fuller carrot tail.

For the record nothing you cross with a snow will have no dark pigmants. Snows(mack snows) are black white and yellow. Supers are black and white. Black is a dark pigment. If your looking for bright babies avoid the snows then.

anything you cross with the APTOR or tangelo either has to have tremper in them or they will be het for it.

Resessive traits(Both parents NEED the genes in them to have babies of there morphs):
all 3 albinos
Patternless
blizzard
Eclipse
Bandits(to my knowledge)
Stripes(both bold and normal; to my knowledge)
Lavanders(to my knowledge)
emirenes

Dominate traits(if bred to one thats not the same can still be the same as the parent)
Snow
SHTCTB/hypo/carrot tail
tangerine
engima(AVOID)
some cases ive seem/heard breeders have made lavander and stripes dominate with their groups. idk if its true or not.

So what if their het? Alot of different geckos can be het this or that. Some can be black pigmatented too ie snows het daiblo or normals het diablo make sure the two that are het daiblo are compatable too

. Like i said before breed morphs YOU like not ones others suggest or will make some cash off of. Personally i think the diablo blanco is boring/lame. White gecko with red eyes, wow, not really. RAPTORs have red eyes too, they comin some nice colors. I know my Jungle RAPTOR Juice is alot more interesting to look at then a diablo blanco. Again thats my oppion. Another option for bright babies is breeeding a Aptor het RAPTOR to a Raptor or another Aptor het Raptor.

Sunglows are ok, just make sure you KNOW what strain of albinoisum it comes from. Make sure to get from a honest, true breeder and not someone lookin to make a buck.

You will not get 25% DB babies. Each egg has a 25% chance of being DB and 75% chance of being something else. If you start out wih a nice tang and a sunglow, you will have some nice bright tangs, of course staying within one albino line. Hets will produce a lot of things that aren't your goal. Keeping it simple to start out is the best way to build toward more exciting projects in the future. You will want to produce some babies to hold back for next season, good tangs are very useful

Lol i know but i like geckos with colorsXD Diablos just arent my kinda leo. There nice in others collections but not mine;D Not saying if i was offer one at a great price i wouldnt take it but i just like leos with colors Must be some high class Diablos! About half i've seen are more tinted yellow then THAT white. Must be pretty;D They got nice ruby eyes or snake eyes?

Well said. The morph calculators nice but shouldnt be a main source of learning. Its fun to toy with but dont relie on it. Learn the morphs and there characteristics too. But well said none the less:main_thumbsup:

I love the colors too, some are so vibrant Next season will be so much fun! I know what you're saying about the yellow on diablos, many do have it. It wasn't easy to find a good male for my girl. She had solid ruby eyes till she was about 3mos then they turned to red snake eyes. Wicked looking The male at 1mo is getting the ruby snake eyes. He came home with us last weekend. The only time any yellow is shown is a day or two before shed for my girl. If the boy isn't what I want when he's a little bigger I'll continue to look for another. So far he's good

Thanks! Ok, so I am going to breed him to a tangerine to hopefully get some yellow babies out of them.
And I am going to get a tangelo, and a tangerine and possibly a sunglow... What would I get if I bred those guys together?

I dont know if this has been said or not but, Tremper het DB x Tremper het DB wont produce 25% diablo Blancos, it will infact only produce 6.25% DB's so not very many.

And as mentioned ( ithink) having geckos with lots of hets will produce a lot of things that your not aiming for and so is just unnecessary. But at the same time it would be exciting not knowing what your gonna get lol .

I'm actually going to breed him to a super snow tremper albino. I was told i am going to get some cool lookin babies.

And I am going to get a nice SHTCTB pair and maybe a sunglow to breed into the SHTCTB pair.

Hahah that pairing will produce Tremper jungle albinos, Jungle mack snow tremper albinos, and some tremper albinos, and I think a chance of mack snows also.... am I right?

Oh, and a SHTCTB X SHTCTB Will give me SHTCTB babies and if I can continue to line breed I can even enhance the color.

I was looking more for the technical part of it like what the het would be etc. Show me how you would list it if it were for sale. This is only a test... if this were a real emergency you would receive instructions on what to do next ... ... sorry, in a bit of a mood.

Well honey, Keep studying your morphology... You need to know these things before you produce babies darlin. Do you know what your leos are het for? Like for example my Eros is a bold mack snow het bell het patternless...
