Prolapse or sperm plug or shed?

I’m freaking out. My 9 y/o male leopard gecko has something stuck in his vent. He’s had a sperm plug before and i took him to the vet for removal.. I figured this was another. However, when I soaked him and tried to loosen it, it looked as if it was stuck to his man bits. My exotic vet is completely booked and there’s no others around. What do you think it is? Everyone’s telling me different things. He has pooped and eaten and isn’t acting weird... it also looks like it’s come out more than yesterday.

If it's a prolapse, it looks dried out enough so that the hemipenis may not be able to be saved. I recommend you call the exotics vet back again and let them know that your gecko likely has a prolapsed hemipenis which has dried out. That may qualify as an emergency. About the only thing you can try now is to make up a solution of very sugary water (so much sugar that it's like a syrup, not like sweet water) and soak that area. You can also use karo syrup (from the grocery store) or Preparation H from the pharmacy.
