I kind of thought that when you take a picture, it might hurt my little leo's eyes. Is this true? I dont want to hurt my little girl, but i want to take pics of her. I didnt with my last leopard gecko and i regret it :(

I am not sure if it really hurts their eyes or not.. it doesn't seem to, IMO.. I mean, when I try to take pics of our cats, the cats almost always have their eyes cloes in the pics because I guess the flash is far too bright for them.. this isn't really ever a problem with the geckos.. I would only worry about albino ones, but they will shut their eyes if the lighting is far too bright.

+1. I think the flash scares them more then hurts them. Yea im sure it affects their eyes like any bright light would but I dont think it hurts them.

you wouldn't want to use flash anyway. The best way is to take a photo of him/her outside in the middle of the day. White balance it with a card so the colors are true and accurate :main_yes:

For some reason our camera isn't good with taking natural light pics *at all* ..I always use the flash and still have to adjust the brightness/contrast to bring out their true colors
