As Josh said, these guys are even more crazy in person, and I have had the privelage as I am sure Josh has to see a few of these progress slightly and as Paul said, the bold gets more intense with age, I think these guys are going to make some awesome crosses down the road.

Yes, I agree. That's an awesome looking male...and probably in some way related to the halloweens from way back. I believe Albey told me the original female came from Ron back in 1998. I also saw your Afghanicus...they have a unique look. I wonder if the head pattern could be traced back to a specific locale?

Not much in the mask department, but they have killer jungle patterns... Their parents spotting has remained very bold so these should stay as well...

I'm not sure if I'm far enought yet  , but well:

For this project I was concentrating on the your eyed pattern. I've ben working with several bloodlines, with difficult results:

Here is the oldest line:
Babies in '06 (3rd generation)

And adults from '06 (3rd generation)

Babys from '07 (4th generation):

Here is a male I bought for outcrossing:

I have seen a lot of Afghanicus by now, and my guess is that 80% of them looks very much as the two I have...
Nearly all have that head pattern, then some is lighter and some is darker!

I have for myself choosen the two darkest from our friends breeding this year.
