and, as sad as it sounds, you have to talk about the money they loose cause there animals don't look the best as a direct link to there captivity conditions. Hey with these types you have to bring up cost vs benefits. They do run a business.

The intent is not to call out any one company or to question any one company's ethics. The intent is to send a message to any and all establishments that display and sell leopard geckos that the greater community of leopard gecko owners/breeders do not approve of keeping hatchlings on sand.

OK, well Petco amd PetSmart were specifically mentioned initially, if they had not been I would not have had to jump in. As long as no company names are specifically mentioned I really don't have a problem with it.

You mention petco and petsmart, I know what you're talking about. You mention Kim's dog grooming and more, and I'm just not going to see why I should care. Those names represent the pet industry, nationwide. Affecting change in either of those stores would be a huge accomplishment.

When we make this petition, it is going to be sent somewhere. That part doesn't have to be discussed here, but clearly the objective needs to be lofty or we simply won't attract enough support from within our community, which is so polarized as it is.
