Steve (HiddenGecko) and I were talking about this the other day. Now, we were around that long but i thought i saw alot more of them when i was first getting int oit than i do now. Albey and TUG seem to be the only guys with any!

it seems as though it isn't a desired trait anymore. i mean you see people who have carrot tails and such but i remember the ads "wow stunning hypo tang male 90% carrot tail" you don't see that anymore. and no more photos with the title "LOOK AT THE CARROTING ON THIS GUY"

Just when I got into geckos even a few years back, I remember those ads that robin is talking about. They are still some of my favorite geckos, and I have a few that have a lot of carrot-tail, but you just don't see many any more...

LoL the carrot tails are the only thing I realy like about my TUG sunglows. Id love to see my carrottail in geckos. Its kinda dissapointing when you see someone with a smoking orange tang project and they have no carrot tail at all. That to me should be 1 of the main ingredients

i like deep deep tangerines with nice whitish tails makes for great contrast

yeah, regarding the carrot tails, i'm relatively a new guy around here...but
i understand the importance of raptors and the triple recessive ______, and whatever, they're cool for sure, but I really really like seeing a golden sunglow with a wicked carrot tail...

i mean i know everyone is drawn to bright colors and stuff,
our "magpie eye obsessions"....lol
but really rocking sunglows are impressive as heck.
sometimes i wonder if the raptors are being bred for paleness...?

..and i'll go a step further..lol
I prefer tremper albino sunglows to bell, mostly b/c of the spotting...and i prefer sunglows to be white underneath...with no chin spots (bell)....when i mean hypo, i MEAN HYPO..lol

btw, of course, IMHO...lol
