I actually don't like it when sht don't have a ct. If I was buying a tangerine(which im not) I would look for one with a ct. To me a ct is a trait I look for alot.

I like the carrot tails, but a also just as well like the SHTB with like 20% carrot and the white tail, with lots of black dots on just the tail...I think it looks pretty cool...like this one..older pic..looks better now:)

These are MY personal favorite i n the SH realm. I do like the looks of those eletrics Kelli has too though. I also like the fact these are almost cheaper than normals.lol and sometimes easier to come buy. This little girl came from petco, and is now 55 grams lol. But a great point Robin.

As Paul stated before I was just actually thinking about this. When we first got into breeding leos I used to see awesome carrot tails, and now over time they just seemed to disappear. I've only seen a couple of CT's with 50% or more in person and they are amazing. I'm hoping someday in the not to distant future to get a few and start a project like that. Some of them just look so cool, but I have a feeling they're going to be hard to find.

Definitely not a baldy but this is still one of my favorites from this season. She's gone more Super Hypo with every shed but I hope she keeps all of her head pattern, I like the contrast.

Beautiful examples of SHTCT's everyone! I saw some of Albey's geckos in person at Daytona two years ago, and WOW, some of them had 90% CT and their body color was pretty darned close to the color of the CT! (Not just carrot-tail, but Carrot-gecko!)

I know what Robin is talking about... heck, I remember back when I used to get all excited over a gecko that had any orange at the base of it's tail!

I know what you mean about white tails also being cool. I remember someone posted a pic in here of a tang with no spots at all on its tail. Im guessing you could also selectively breed for a "clean" tail? That would be another neat line, totally hypo, baldy, with a clean tail. But I definitely gotta hand it to albey, those Carrot Tails are AMAZING!

Maybe it's because CT isn't as easy of a trait to build on. For me at least it shows up the more I build on a specific line. With everyone outcrossing and jumping at every knew morph they have been left behind. I wouldn't be surprised to see it coming back in other lines but with shtctb worth today how many people are still working on this?

By the way Albey your geckos are amazing!!!!

Those are awsome ct's. I'm wondering if it's a phase like every other morph. So many new morhps popped up that shtcb's got lost in the mix maybe. But with those examples listed here, we can just see what's available now and could be in the future-those all orange shtcb's. Prob then they will get popular again.
