what are your opinions on reptile leashes for adult beardies?i am thinking about getting one but i wanted to know if anyone has tried them and if they iritate the beardie too much?

I bought one, but am yet to use it. I don't think my beardie would like it to much. I think they are more for Iguanas and bigger lizards.

a lot of people on beardeddragons.org use them on their dragons. I think it takes some practice to get them into it and used to them.

I got one for my beardie because in the summer I hang out on my second floor front porch and wanted to have some way to keep her from heading off the porch. It's not a big deal putting it on her, but I haven't used it recently because she's not as active as she used to be.

I use one for my beardie. The honest truth is that no beardie is going to like a leash. At first, they all hate it, but they will get used to it. Personally, I have heard too many horror stories about beardies getting lost outside. I never take Budo out of doors without a leash.

We have one for our leopard geckos. 
Was kind of a pain at first to get it on the first time, and Wally didn't really like it at first... but after she got used to it, it was a piece of cake! Now she can walk around the house on her harness, and if she gets underneath the couch or something it's much easier to find her with a long leash dragging behind her.

I use to use them on my bearded dragon. Would attach the leash to a stick or something and leave them outside. Mine never cared... I would put it on and they did not act any different.

Can you buy a harness small enough for a leo, or do you have to make one?
