Rescue - May not make it

Good news is that there was no regurgitation last night!
He's getting a little feistier and is looking for the syringe now LOL.

He also seems to be settling into a proper gecko routine of sleeping during the day (except when I wake him up for Mush) and being more active at night... The pet store must have been so stressful for him not having a proper hide and having that bright light in his tank

:main_angry:this is the saddest thing i've seen in so long.. made me shed a tear. good luck with him, please keep us updated!! i am so so disgusted with the way some pet stores keep their animals, it is SO sad. i'm about to start a petition saying pet stores should only be allowed to sell pet items, not the actual pets. everyone should buy from breeders .. ugh

Good news today

He had lost a gram over the weekend what with regurging everything he was eating. But he has gained it back now he's being hand fed...

I know a gram does not sound like much, but at his size it's a big deal

Finally got a poop last night.

Vet confirmed a lot of pin worms, so we're treating for the right thing

Good luck with Kink. Luckily my gecko came from a small independant pet shop in Chester, where the staff are knowledgable and the animals (rodents, fish and lizards) are in fentastic habitats. (pretty much what you would see at the zoo). If only all pet shops were like that. Im glad you bought him xx

Kink died tonight around 10pm.

Looks like he was just too far gone. He had been a little off on his last feed.

Oh no! I was really rooting for the little guy. Those stupid pet chain stores. >.< At least you tried your hardest. You did a great thing trying to save him.
