Ouch that doesn't look good at all. I'm glad you both were able to walk away from that.

Kelli...... Get that Lic Plate off that car!!!! ;)

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes. Kelli's contusions are getting slightly better each day and today I noticed that I am finally starting to get my eyesight back, ever so slightly, in my left eye.

Thanks again to everyone.

I'm so glad to hear that, sight is a precious thing to loose.

Yes, but you try being face down for 24 hours a day!

I'm sure my husband would have something perverted to say to that. lol

Have you tried a massage type table/bed to put your face into? This may be more comfortable for you.

Wow that poor car!

I am glad to hear your sight is returning Steve. To think, I had to endure 27 stitches and complete blindness for 6 weeks last time my retina detached. Modern medicine has come along way in 17 years.

Here's one of my very sore legs. Our airgbags didn't deploy for whatever reason so we both got some pretty bad contusions and I got a serious case of whiplash. My husband had surgery today to repair his detached retina, which was caused in part by the accident. It was mighty scary folks!

Yikes!! I KNOW that had to hurt!! RIP Silver Surfer. :( Keep on top of the insurance company. I hope you don't have nearly the trouble that I've had.

BTW...same thing happened to my car - airbag didn't deploy as you would expect. Turns out that it had an advanced airbag system that takes into account all sorts of things like the weight of the driver, speed of impact, position of the seat, etc...then it decided if it's more dangerous to deploy the airbag then to leave it alone. :main_rolleyes:

I hope you and Steve get better soon. It really sucks to get hurt like that because of someone else being stupid.
