Ugh poor car... Poor you and Steve! I wish him luck with his recovery and yours also..

Maybe it is the symbolism.. maybe it's relief that you guys are ok.

Quick healing and lots of prayers sent out to you and Steve.

Very Glad you guys are safe and relatively well after a crash like that. RIP Silver Surfer/LEO LVR. Good luck to Steve in his recovery.

Will you be getting another one?
Our HHR has worked great for us.Its funny I have grown to hate PTs ever since I guess because people mistake them even though HHRs are WAY better. I was loading groceries one day and a women past by and muttered to her son I hate those cars. Better not be talking bout my care I said..... no I only said it in my head , Ha.

Jessica and I were driving one day and discussing weather we should rent a van when we have to travel and vent at shows, then I remembered what we were driving and I looked back and had a sigh of relief and said oh ya thats one of the reasons we got this car. love the space for "cargo".

Yes we're getting another HHR, an '09 black SS with red and black interior. I really like the design of the HHR's, both inside and out (I dig the retro look), and they get good gas mileage also. The cargo area is way more spacious than the PT Cruisers, and the HHr just looks better to me. I read the other day somewhere that the PT Cruiser will not be produced any longer after this year. I hope GMC keeps producing the HHR's for years to come, I love them.

BTW, since you are a big fan of the car like I am, you should join the best HHR forum around, http://www.chevyhhr.net/. Many people modify these cars, and you can see lots of cool mod pics there.

Cool thanks for the link Kelli, Oh man your new one is going to be Sweet! black will be cool, or is that hot. It will absorb that Texas heat. and I have seen that interior color scheme in person very cool. you will definitely be rockin in that thing.

Wow!! :( I'm so glad you're getting another super star car, though I know you'll miss the old one.

Mostly, I'm just glad you guys are OK. *shudders to think*

Don't know how I missed this... All I can say is it's great you two came out of that without severe injuries... I hope Steve heals up real nice and that the insurance process moves swiftly...

Quick Update

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes. Kelli's contusions are getting slightly better each day and today I noticed that I am finally starting to get my eyesight back, ever so slightly, in my left eye.

Thanks again to everyone.
