Sunset was the middle step in my first breeding project, which was to make hybinos. She was a holdback from my '06 season, the product of my Tremper albino male (Eragon) and my Hines line SHTCT (Citrus). Citrus is not a good breeder and Sunset was the only offspring she produced with Eragon. Last season, her first breeding season, Sunset produced several hybinos with her father, and also a surprise jungle albino and non-albino jungloe with snake eyes.
She seemed to have one big egg in her this season, and as far as I can tell, the egg must have broken inside her. By the time I realized, there really wasn't much I could do for her but make her comfortable. She didn't seem to be in pain and died some time this evening.
I kind of wish I had one of her offspring to remember her by, but I know where at least one of them is, so I can visit.
