When buying those store bought rock caves, what size should i go with for a Juvie to adult leo, Small, Medium, Large, x-Large?

if youre talking about thoose Exo Terra caves then Med. or Large should be good.

Just do what I do, take each size, walk over to their tank display and put them in and see how big they are in the tank. Then I buy the one I like the most.

If you are referring to the Exo-Terra caves, I use:

small=babies-juvies
medium=sub-adults-adults

The medium is the largest size I use. They are plenty big enough for all of my adults. I have a 112 gram MS male that fits just fine in a medium with room to spare. :main_yes:

If so, I have a medium, and its the right size for a adult, but I do not like
them because the opening is too large, color is too light and does not provide enough privacy for the leo.

My favorite hide of all is the Repti-shelter by ZooMed.
The medium size has a opening on top, and you can put your moist substrate in it. They are a nice heavy weight, the lid fits nice, and they are painted black on the inside to provide the greatest privacy and sense of security. My leos love them, and I think they are one of the best products on the market for leos :main_yes:

Yes, I can confirm they are one of the best products as far as hides go. I have at least 8 of them. One medium-sized 3 in 1 cave fits a maximum of two adults and one juvie ;-) They like to have their get-togethers in them. They also prefer them as egg-laying place - although I offered deli cups with vermiculite as an alternative. I never bought the small ones, because I think they outgrow them quickly. Here's a link; one can get them in many pet stores, or online. They aren't very cheap, but they're worth the money. If you have lots of babies, I'd suggest to get those half coco nuts for them; they are very cheap, and they will fit in there until they are juvies.
