Recently I have noticed my female is not eating. Instead every couple of weeks I find these egg shaped poops that are rock hard. Any idea what these are?

She is kept on paper towel so I doubt this is impaction but I am getting worried from her not eating and than leaving these weird things behind.

I've never seen that... I'd ask what your substrate is but you said paper towel..looks like undigestibles, though. Is there anything in her cage she can eat? How long have you had her? And are you sure these came from her?

I've had her since January. She pretty much hasn't eaten since then. There is nothing digestable in her cage as its just large hides and a water/food bowl. She is also the only one in the tank so I'm pretty sure they came from her. I've been trying to keep the temp around 95 degrees during the day using an ultratherm, although I am sure it falls to 90 when I am at work. Should I invest in a red heat lamp to up the ambient air temp? I'm willing to try anything.

Could this possibly be the gecko version of kidney stones? The original post has had me thinking, and forgive me if my postulation is completely absurd. I just woke up at 1am, after having the kidney stone revelation, and absolutely had to post it. :D

I'm nearly positive kidney stones are MUCH smaller than that...but I could be wrong. Still, vet's a good idea

We've gotten infertile eggs that look anywhere from white slime to dry and crystalized looking. It would explain the lack of appetite and the fact that they're coming every 2 weeks but they certainly could be something else. Only a vet would be able to say for sure.

Thank you all for your comments. I took her to the vet today and he dissected all of the egg things. Turns out it was a clay based sand that she took a long time to process through her system, but she looks fine now. I think I may have to send an email to the breeder and let them know that the substrate they are keeping their leos on is doing some damage and had I been smart at the time and asked what they kept it on, I would not have bought her. At any rate, I hope she's passed it all out of her system and will go back to eating mealworms.
