Just as an FYI....This great book is now out of print and is a collector's item. Ron will not be doing another run. If you have this book, treat it like a rare gem. If you do not have it, there are a few copies floating around the web, but they won't be there for long.

There were a few copies available at the reptile show in Denver over the weekend and they were selling for 50 bucks.

Just thought I'd let you guys know. This book is THE leo Bible, so if you do not have it I highly recommend grabbing one, quick.

Already got my copy for $17. I'm trying not to share mine, or at least not share it and keep it out of eyesight lol.. so hopefully it doesn't get away from me. If it does I have my phone number and name on it.

Not a huge RT fan, but I bought a copy just because, well, I felt like I needed to add to my collection of leo books....and if it's going out of print, I might as well.

I'm kinda goofy but have 2 copies! Paid $59 for my first one at a reptile show. Second cost $20 from amazon. Had to have a second one since the binding of the first started coming apart. I have a 3yr old that likes to look at the pics. 2nd copy is put away. :)

no wonder it is going out of print, there is so much misinformation in it. for instance he says leopard geckos will not eat superworms. we all know that most do.
the genetics section is just a mess. definitely not a "must have"

Really? I love the book! I sold my first copy awhile back like an idiot, but I just got my 2nd copy ordered on amazon for 23 bucks.. Its amazing since you posted this, like 6 new ads came up on amazon for 75 bucks!! lol Glad I figured out a way to get mine today rather then ordering it this weekend :)
Personally I love that book! It helped me out so much last season and when I first got my leos

You can still buy them on his website for less then $20 shipped! All the info may not be perfect but is still a good book to have on hand. I don't think it's worth $50 though.

haha, ive already got a copy. ooh its gonna be become a colllectors item and in twenty years time, people will have it in sealed glass boxes lol.
i cant belive people are trying to sell it at like 50 odd bucks, even if its not being reprinted, its still just a book. not like a rare wine, or a stamp from years ago.

actually, after saying that, (no offense to any wine collectors or stamp collectors) but a rare book is more useful than a rare stamp or wine, since they dont get used.

anyway, what do we think lies in the future for this great book?

it will problably be super outdated and worthless in 10 years . Then amazon will be selling used copies for 2.99 + shipping. Ahahah

How about making an ebook based on that book? It keeps up with the current trends. It would be so much easier reading of of my ipad or a kindle. I might even buy it so I can convert it.
