Robin... Russel has better taste than you do when it comes to reptiles. I'm just sayin'. Nice color on those guys too, I'd be interested in taking a look at the parents (because I don't want to wait two years to see these).

Edit: The guy you bought these from has climacophora incubating. You should have waited and got those. Or gotten those and bought these at the same time.

The parents are probably really good looking, those little ones are very sharp.

And... Boa constrictors are already so messed up that I can't even get angry anymore, I just get depressed. It is not like it is a new problem, it has its origins far enough back that there's not a thing that can be done about it short of extensive genetic mapping and some kind of national registry. I still don't like it but at this point I can understand just shrugging, saying "Eh, what the hell- it is pretty." and just owning whatever has aesthetic appeal as a personal choice.

I'll just sit in my corner* yelling about the relative value of genetic material from pure and verifiable stock and then use it as an example to beat the verbal crap out of people who are starting to do similar things with species that haven't been muddied up yet.

*my corner has concrete walls and a bare incandescent bulb hanging from the ceiling and a really uncomfortable steel stool with a bunch of scuff marks on the seat and a dented leg, like it was used to hit someone or something in the past so now it wobbles just enough to be annoying without being so messed up that it needs to be thrown out. There is probably a mystery stain on the ceiling.

Nice Irian Jayas Robin. Er... should I say Russell? I think they might be my favorite type of carpet because of that beautiful brown and the irridescence, but you can't beat a nice banded high yellow jungle either.

I've been telling people I was thirty seven since seeing Quest for the Holy Grail for the first time. Don't knock it.
