Hey, I am going to make some DIY hides soon and was wondering if I can use a Glue Gun? Please tell me if this is safe or not for my leo!

Thanks!

A hot glue gun will work but it is best to have one that you can change the temp of the gun. Some have a low and high setting. The high setting will melt quite a bit of the foam thus the reason why the low setting would be preferred. You could also just use liquid nails with a caulking gun which I believe works great. Hot glue is really not going to be your best choice as it melts the styrofoam and doesn't bind the pieces together that great. Hot glue is generallly used as a tack to keep the pieces together.

Agreed, i use an aquarium safe silicone. I tried hot glue for a few different things, it really dosent bind or stick two things together very well.

hot glue is no toxic, but if ingested, i cant imagine that going well, and since it easily crumbles and breaks up when dry, that would be another concern.
