If you think I was insulting you, you have anouther thing comming. What I said was based on experience. But some people just think they know everything because they might have read a care sheet or 2 and maybe a book about Leopard Geckos. Nothing beat experience.

First off, let's keep in mind that is against the TOS to attack any individual. I would hate to see anyone warned or banned due to a misunderstanding. There is more than enough verbal abuse to go around at school/work without the need to bring such anger on an internet forum.

Ccrash, it's obvious you care deeply about the wellfare of the animals and that's great to see. I feel strongly about the impaction threat as well and can fully understand why you make the stand that you do.

Sidork, you've made it apparent that you care about the animals as well and that you simply got your wording a bit mixed up with your question. It happens.

Now. Back to the topic at hand. They are very nice looking geckos, they seem to be of a nice weight. If you are able to view them in person prior to purchasing them, ask if you can see them feed, as a way to help ensure that they are as healthy as they look. If they are being offered at a reasonable price, and you like them, then I say go for it. :main_thumbsup:

To answer your question though I think in my opinion I go ahead and get them theres is a risk of impaction but they are older so theres a less chance they have it. I would not put them back on sand though.

I never got my words mixed up I was asking a question and he could of responded with "I still wouldn't It is still a problem even if feeding mealworms" thats as simple as that and i have every rite to get mad at him. He may love his geckos more but he is bad with people.

I can see the situation from both sides but i think every one needs to calm the hell down. Its not worth arguing over. Why get warned or banned over something as stupid as this?? I dont mean to sound rude, but if you ask me, i think both of you guys are acting a little immature to keep going at it like this....

Now back to the topic...like some others have said, there is risks. Use the search box and read more about it. If reading true stories from people with experience isnt enough to change your mind then so be it. Its your geckos, your choice, do what you want, but know that there is always that possibility. Why risk it?
