You can get them on ebay, specially made for vivariums, but they can be quite expensive.
An Office Supply one should work just as well though, and will be a lot cheaper ... as long as it's not been treated with any weird chemicals or anything I reckon it should be fine.

Adds an extra feature for the gecko's too, You'll probably see them literally climbing the walls! :)

Even something like these (search ebay.com for Vivarium Background) :

or ebay.co.uk for cork background

my viv is 4x2x2, so those foam backgrounds could get very expensive. I picked up some cork squares at W*****t. I am going to see if I can attach them with velcro. They are 12"x12" squares and I got 2 packs of 4 for about $12.00. Alot cheaper than some of the options I have been looking at. I also think it will be alot easier to cut the holes for the vent openings. I will have to wait until tomorrow though, my daughter has a softball game tonight, so it will be a late night, unless I do it at midnight. Come to think about it, I might just do that. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Added a second level with some laminate flooring, covered in Repti' carpet.

Let the carpet overhang the second level, and cut a wee doorway to create a nice big hide. Cool hide on top of that.

Added another wee raised level between the moist hide and the warm hide, pretty much making a 3rd hide on the warm side of the viv, covered it in Reti-carpet and moss, to give them a bit of extra texture to walk about on.

Also added some new plants (plastic)

sleepyjones- What is your background? I still have not done mine yet and that looks interesting.

It's a shop-bought foam background.
Wasn't any of the big names, Exo-Terra or T-Rex, was just a cheapy copy version, got 2 large sheets in the pack ... couldn't even tell you who made it or anything ... or even how much it was.

I don't have any pictures of my viv to show, but I'll try to take some when I'm home this weekend.

I adapted a bedside table (took out the drawer, turned it on its side, gave it a screen door that opens down on hinges, etc) and turned that into a viv for two of my girls, but I'm looking to add a second story and a background.

When I get home my project is going to be a faux limestone-esque wall background, but I'm debating whether I should get that second story built and up before I play around with the plaster. What do you think would be better?

And also, for color consistency, do you think painting the store-bought cave hides with acrylic paints would do any harm? They're grey now and I want kind of a tan look going through here...

I have a 10 gallon quarantine tank, a 24x24x20 inch enclosure for the girls that I made myself, and a 20gal for my male.

I was wondering if any of you knew of any tank that's square -shaped and around 27 by 27 inches.Unless you all know of a common type of tank sold in stores like that then it'll be great.(also would leo's get teritorial if they're female under any conditions?)

If I may ask, where do you guys find your desert-y or plant-y paper backgrounds? The only ones I can find are for fish and are quite obviously supposed to look like a pond bottom...

I found Pip's background at herpsupplies.com - it's called a Habi-Scale Rock Wall and is 3-D.

Emilio's background is just a 2-D tank background poster that I got from the pet store where I work. I work in a local pet store though, not a chain, so I don't really know specifically where else to find one just like it.

Here's Mine!

Here is mine basic and simple. A 29 and 10. Going to buy another 10 a 20 long this weekend. Both with stand and all the goodies for $50. The guy had Leos in them before he stopped using them. His loss my gain.

Here is my 10:

bookshelf enclosure

Half of the bookshelf has lights the other half has uth. The lights are for the normals that have no problem seeing the other ones are for the raptor, aptor, jungle and tremper. I am in the process of using uth but havent had the money lately. So the photos are a little messy but her it is my first bookshelf enclosure.
