In a previous post I should have not said that the stripe gene is not a recessive. I have always thought it was not a recessive but I personally have not proven that for sure. I aswell as many others should figure that whole gene out this season.

Since I saw some of the patterned morphs appearing I have thought they stemmed from the patternless line. Some of my hets have fairlly connected patterns and some resemble the "stinger" pattern.

The patternless gene is definitley doing some interesting stuff when bred to normals and hets. Even if it does not cross into the albino(never say never) they still are creating very interesting animals and the patternless by itself is an amazing morph.

And Pat congratulations! on hatching those 2 pats you've already doubled my patternless production.

Good luck on with your breeding seasons.

LOL I read my last post and confused myself LOL let me try to explain better Ive got banded amels from banded parent bred to a striped amel never hatched a stripe, now that same male bred to a banded female from a stripe x banded I get all stripes, stripe x stripe also gives all stripes, and when I ve bred banded to banded from stripe x banded parents Ive produced some stripes some banded. these are just my findings and opinions
:)
