hyper means to have a lot of and xanthin is the yellow pigment so these are geckos that express excess yellow pigment

the JMG website says they are "near florescent yellow" and that they express yellow coloration on the tail

either way awesome geckos! I like the really bold one!

Just like high yellows.....

They are definitely a cut above High Yellows. I have a pair also, but my pair has brown spotting and look very different than the others I've seen. I've named them Liz Lemon and Mellow Yellow. :main_laugh: I will be breeding mine very soon. I would love to see what comes from your pair geckobabies. I'll keep an eye out for your threads. Good luck with them in the future.

I think they're gorgeous.
But, then again, I love yellow geckos.

And, honestly, for those who feel that high yellows are "just high yellows", just how common are high yellows now-a-days, anyway?
Not very, I'd say.

I LOVE the bolder markings on these, though.
:D

Beautiful additions!!!

They are definitely special, and at this point a one of a kind line. My hat goes off to The Galewoods for these animals. They have done some interesting crosses with them. The HYX x R.A.P.T.O.R. crosses are insane. I would like to get my hands on one of the Yellow Jackets in the coming season if possible. The ones posted by geckobabies look more similar to the Yellow Jackets than the pair I have. My male is nearly patternless.

Thanks again everyone! =) JMG def has produced some amazing geckos and crosses. What drem me to this line was the high yellow and bold black markings.. as well as what can be crossed into other lines. I will def update a thread once some babies start hatching out!

An awesome example of someone actually working on a project to get it where they want... This is the outcome of sectively breeding with a vision... Awesome geckos... The 300 dollar price tag is not equal to the amount of work put into this project... I dont think the Jeffs are getting enough for those geckos to be honest...

AWESOME geckos!!!!

I have seen with my own eyes what these animals are and CAN MAKE. Anyone calling them high yellows is actually belittling YEARS of hard work by a WORLD CLASS BREEDER !

Oh yes =) I have a few ideas I am working with right now.

And thanks again everyone. I completely agree that JMG has developed a very amazing and beautiful gecko. They deserve a lot of credit. They better send me a xmas card this year! LoL =)
