For anyone who knows of our site, "Jason" is our star Tangerine male. He was perhaps the best Tang produced by Jason Haygood from Gecko Genetics. His line was a cross of the Tangerine Tornado from Urban Gecko and the HISS Electrics.

We crossed Jason into JMG's best Blood Hypo Tang females to produce our line.

The following pic is the first photo taken of Baby Jason, son of Jason and Gorgeous, a Blood Hypo Tang with 95% carrot tail. When he came out his orange color was really blinding and we knew he would be something special. Now, as he grows, his color keeps getting more orange and his carrot tail is spreading nicely to what we hope will be 75-90% in a couple of months. His temperament is really awesome, very mellow.

To Father Haygood, if you're out there, thanks!

Introducing our first son of Jason.....for now, named....Baby Jason:

Yeah, that picture does NOT do him justice. He's unlike anything I've ever seen in hand. I will sign up for a waiting list. ;)

He is amazing! :main_thumbsup: I have a 2008 Rainwater and a Tang Bell from Jason Haygood. Wonder what became of thebestgeckos... Maybe preacherman is still lurking here and seeing his beautiful "grandchild" now :main_yes:

Nice work Ray. That's how tang's should look. With all the low grade "tangs" on the market, it's refreshing to see how nice the morph can be if you invest in high quality animals. Again, job well done, he's impressive!

And you can't even see the red highlights on his face and chin, or how distinct the bands are in person. Incredible contrast on that guy.

Thanks Keith. You've seen him in person at our store so you know what he looks like. This pic does not do him justice. Black backgrounds are not good for showing orange and yellow. I should put him on a white background next time to show his colors better. We still have a female from Jason that turned out great too but she doesn't have the % CT this male has. She is very bright though.

His father, Jason, was also very orange as a juvie, but not this orange. I think the Blood gene really helped to enhance the orange in his offspring.
