I just had to pester the absolute HELL out of the thing. It tried biting at me, zipping across the cage, all the normal things I do whenever Katie pesters me... But in the end it coiled it up and... hopefully... will eat it...
He himself is about 16''.. maybe a little more. The viv is a 30-gallon tall. I was thinking aobut keeping him in the smaller container for quite a while, until I know without a shadow of a doubt he'll eat without any sort of trouble. Thanks Robin. You're my hero
josh. it will be quite a while before he will be ready for a 30 tall. i would keep him in what you have for a good while then move to a ten gallon.a 30 high is a LONG way away for him. too much room can stress a little ones even big ones. take baby steps with these guys. one thing while they are young is feed them and let them poop after they have pooped then feed them again and continue the process. you do not want them prolapsing. they are very delicate at this size.
