I had a red radio flyer wagon - actually I still have it!! It is a bit rusty, now.

We used to play capture the flag on summer nights - all over the neighborhood - that was so fun! We had woods behind our block (all houses now) that we would adventure in. There was a field great for catching butterflies and giant grasshoppers, the snake-board area, and the beautiful-but-far-away path that I always loved to find. There was also a swamp where we would catch tadpoles every spring and harvest our own clay to make stuff with.

Kelli - one of my friends had that stretchy guy!! I loved playing with that!

All this nostalgia is wonderful! It's nice to spend some time thinking about life as a kid!

Oh that gives me an idea!!!

Ok some of us have plans on moving to TX and most of you guys are there already!!!

We all need to get together and just have a "Kid Again" Party, just us grown ups (LOL Don't think any of us really did grow up anyways ;) ). Everyone has to bring something that they played with as a kid. Spend the day doing nothing but things we did as a kid. Only music to be played is what was on the radio back then. And no REAL kids aloud!!

You know what's sad? The only place to find the toys we played with as kids is in antique shops. This is no lie!

Ok, maybe current day knockoffs might be better. There are a lot of games and such that are coming back on the market now. I've seen quite a few lately.

I am going nuts with nostalgia, I actually considered buying this!:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Italian-Stretch-Monster-Stretch-Armstrong-Mister-mostro_W0QQitemZ160102509131QQihZ006QQcategoryZ348QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

My all time favorite toy, Stretch Monster! Received Christmas of 1977. Even though this is the Italian version, it is the same toy. Mine met with an unfortunate accident in my closet (he got crushed/punctured by another toy in the toy box) and I remember tasting the red gel stuff that came out of him and it tasted just like maple syrup! Poor Stretch Monster:( . Oh to be able to play with him one more time, to smell that latex/rubbery smell, to stetch him again! Someone help me, I am 35 years old and this kind of behavior can't be normal!!!

LMFAO! I LOVE YOU KELLI!

My dad always joked that I was allergic to dirt and sticky so I didn't play outside much. But I still have all of my Barbie dolls.......all 200 something of them. Man, I really need to throw some stuff away. The one toy I miss the most is the Sit and Spin. Now they light up and play music I think. Mine had Care Bears on it.

Keith asked me to add that his favorite toy was a helicopter that was attached to a board and you had a controller to try and land it on the landing pad. I have no idea what it's called but he still talks about it all the time.
edit: it's called a "Vertibird" and was made by Mattel. He just had me spend an hour searching the internet for them. lol

I've asked the geckos for a pair of Heelys for Mothers Day. Keith thinks I'll break my neck on them but I like the idea of being able to skate around everywhere!

I have a huge box of Pez dispensers, probably a good 200+ of them. I haven't even looked at them in over a year. I don't think I'm going to keep them when it comes time to move. Too bad I don't have an Ebay acct. :(

It takes no time at all setting up an account on Ebay. Now, the time it takes to get everything up, and answering all the dumb-ass questions people come up with, and then shipping - that can take awhile.

Yeah, but with no history of feedback...

I might actually have an ebay account now that I think about it, but it's been eons since I've used it. Even then, I would've used it to buy one or two things.

Paul, if you want to bring the Pez with you, I can list them on Ebay for you. I have an account there with 205 positive transactions. I've never sold anything there though LMAO but wouldn't mind it. I've always thought it would be fun to go around to yard sales and Estate sales, looking for "treasures" to sell on Ebay. Maybe you could get enough money for the Pez dispensers to buy an adult Big Wheel hahaha! ;-)

LOL that reminds me. I have a set of Gumby flexibles too. I've always left them in a drawer in the living room for when little people come over so they have something to play with.

Kelli, I might just have to take you up on that. Thanks for offering
