Yes... bring her over here :D

Depending on how fast your camera takes pics it's going to be difficult to capture her colors. Usually outside light (if you don't have professional) with no flash works really well... but it all depends on the camera and the user

yeah natural light works great, but she's albino. don't want to damage her eyes in this scorching texas sun. are there bulbs that you can use with a diffuser that mimic natural light?

I actually take most of my pictures by the window. Or I'll mess with the settings on the camera a little bit and depending on where I am take it with just a regular light.

Most of my pics are just non-flash. Or I'll use the flash if I'm having a bad day and can't get them to turn out.

This guy looks awesome but I am partial to bells.

When it comes to photographing reptiles it seems that it is a trial and error venture. It really depends on what light source your using, your camera quality, and whether you use a flash or not.

I actually have been shooting in a dimly lit room and just use the flash on my camera. The room isn't dark but not a ton of light. I have a Sony DSLR A230. One of the cheapest DSLR's. I use my light box without any light source except for the light on the ceiling. My light box, which is painted white, looks more middle grey in a dimly lit room and I have been having good luck getting pics that show the true colors. I always had trouble using the light in my light box and getting the right color showing. Now I am just using the flash. This also allows you to get pictures of albinos without squinted eyes. You might try this and see if it works for you too.
