Nick has sent us some of this project to continue the work, and I can tell you they are insane in person. The tangelo gene has intensivied the color way more then before. We also have the patternless version here yet.
I dont think people are being secretive, just making sure their ducks are in a line before certain nay sayers question their work.

The thing is, why no adult pics? I've seen / hatched very yellow Blizzards, but they always look like garbage as adults... Please show us some adult pics...

These were just hatched this year...how quick you want them to be adults?? Plus there are many many morphs that are great looking babies and are not as attractive as adults, that is how the game is. All we know at this time is they are getting brighter with age, we will see how they look as adults.

So the color is not line bred? Did they make Blizzards het Tang as well as the Sunsets? I'd like to see those...

OK, so this came from the Tangellos. I asked Nick earlier but since you're here Pat, I will ask you: where did the "Tangello" line that Nick works with originate from?

That is a good question where his original tangelo came from. If Im not mistaken it was for you kelli, but i might be wrong.

We will know more when we start breeding these, until then I can not attest to some of the genetics. It is hard to beleive there is a het tang trait, but we will see. Maybe nick can tell us more about the original tangelo used. At the very least it is a nice linebred blizzard.

Just talked with nick, and the orinigal male used was from Ron Tremper

Never hatched a Blizzard but my first quess(small picture) was a Patternless Albino but it definatially looks like a Blizzard to me and they look so awsome!
I can´t wait to see adults, if they still look like these... man jakpott

I know I've been harsh on you guys... It's not that I don't think those look awesome because they do... It just seemed a bit premature to come out without adult pics especially when stating they look better as they age... I hope they look stunning I really do! I've wanted to make bright yellow Blizzards myself, but never took it in the direction Nick did... For a couple seasons I hatched really bright ones as babies, but they always got ''ugly'' as adults... I did have one gecko that was full grown and very yellow, but I never knew her true genetic make up as I got her off KS as a Banana Blizzard... She passed away in another breeder's care before we got a chance to see what she was... I apologize for being so biased, but you see where I'm coming from right?

We had a heck of the time with the bell patty male, with hunger strike after breeding. He actually passed away:{ So unfortunetly the pics we have are on our site, and honestly we may sell the project and move on.
