I dont know if there are still images but TUG had one on their site and A&M gecko had videos that had them on it (on youtube). I will be posting plenty of development pictures on my site and on the forums.

Awesome little guys, congrats they are fantastic.

Just one question, and you know I am not questioning you, but how can you be sure that the super nova is a super nova, you know why I ask, for those that don't know I had doubts about some hatchlings of mine and I had to ask for help from the forum guys to asure mine where SS.

Once again congrats

I'll let Travis (or Jennifer) answer you, but from what i've been told, the Super Nova is identical to the Super Raptor when they hatch, and unless one begins to show some "enigma" type symptoms when they're stressed, it's nearly impossible to tell. I'm assuming that this Super Nova has shown itself to be an enigma under stress. But you know what they say about people that assume....LOL. :)

BTW, congratulations you guys, awesome hatchlings! I wanna hatch stuff like you! :)

JordanAng420 pretty much summed it up.

Knowing if it is a Super Nova or Super Raptor boils down to the presence of enigma "symptoms" (for hatch-lings). They are easier to identify as they get older, but as hatch-lings they are identical to Super Raptors. A lot of the time I will have possible Super Novas labeled as Super Raptors until I can prove the enigma gene is present. When breeding for anything SS and Eclipse I highly suggest never using het eclipses for that project. It is hard to identify a Eclipse SS Albino and can leave you guessing on the geckos genetics.
