I have a photo of the geckos in question as young adults. Almost breeding age. And they are dark grey to black in color, no pattern cept for a white sock or two on one and 4 socks on the other with some blotches of black on a couple feet.
The genetics Ive been told are Murphy patternless x super snow. I do not know what they looked like as hatchlings.
well murpheys patternless x super snow would give you normals and snows het patternless. now i am assuming these are the offspring of those.
personally since patternless like blizzards can change color so much, to have dark offspring wouldn't be odd. i know several people who have super snows with white socks.
do you have photos? either way it would be very cool to see them
I agree, lets see some pics. Super Snow patternless are normally solid white to light grey animals, so I'm not entirely sure that's what they are. I'd be more inclined to say snow blizzards from the description, but I'd need pics to confirm.
Ive yet to get permission from the person I bought them from to post the photos freely but I will be getting them via ups Tuesday. I will take some photos then and show them to you all.
And yes Robin sorry about that I meant that they are the result of those combinations then bred back some how. I'm not 100% on way the siblings of the snows and patternless were bred back to make the end result but I was told that they are not related (the pair I bought) so I'm guessing that he had 2 pairs he was breeding and then bred the offspring to each other to get the ones I'm buying. The male is older then the female. He is of breeding age. And the female still needs a little time to get up to size. I will get photos as soon as possible. I was told that they should be white but these are far from white. The female is black with a white belly and 4 white socks with some black on the socks. And the male is a dark grey with 2 socks.
well unfortunately the geckos that came to me today was no where near as dark as the photos I had got from the seller. But I'm not completely dissatisfied. They are more a pale lavender color. And no not the usual lavender we see on snows and other morphs. By lavender I actually mean a purplish color. Very pale shade however. Not grey. I will get some photos of them tonight. The female had some poo in the container with her and so some of it was on her. I need to let them settle down a bit from the shipment and then try to wipe that poo off with a q-tip before I take photos.
Welp I got some pics of them. I couldn't get the female perfectly clean. She still has some stain on her tail and back leg where she pooped in her container on the way here. But here is the male and female I bought. They where a lot darker in the photos he sent me. Practically black. I'm disappointed that the photos were misleading. But oh well I still love them.
