Thanks to everyone here of GF.net for making me feel like a part of the reptile community.

As some of you know I was diagnosed with melanoma a while ago. My biopsy results came back malignant. Further biopsies revealed that the majority of my moles were malignant. It was decided that radiation would be more effective than surgery.

Because of the new treatment I have been getting and the side-effects, I have decided to take time off and put Greyscale Geckos on hold indefinitely.

Thank you all for listening to my ideas, for inspiring me, and for helping me learn new things every day.

I will be on the forums less because recently it's been hard for me to sit or even type for a fair amount of time. No worries, I'll try not to drop off the face of the earth though.

oh dear, radiation. Our bodies don't deal well with that. Eat propper foods and turn your body alkaline - instead of acidic - and the cancer can't spread and will eventually die with the aid of oxygen therapy. Cancer cells cannot live in an oxygenated environment. Both of those things will not hurt your body at all, and oxygen therapy is known to make people feel better, not worse

My mom studies on these things. Only recently has the news started to slowly let this out in the light; that the cure for cancer is actually not that far fetched or expensive. Turning your body alkaline is a matter of changing your diet.

Hanna, I normally do not pray but when it comes to family and friends, I will do anything that may help them get through a tough time... They say that prayer can be a strong force... So, I will say a special one for you...

Also, Thank you Hale for the information. Right now my family is trying to look into a different method of treatment because my response to radiation therapy is not very favorable at all.
