Yes the small one is T. molitor (regular mealwarm) and the big one is Z.artratus the (King Mealworm ) although there is some debate as to weather its a king worm or super I believe they are two diferent species. I've done research before but always forget

Anyone that can clear this up?

OMG, i have saw one in the bucket i keep them 8( Do dhey turn in to mealworms or do they produce mealies?

they go from mealworms to these (pupae) then turn into beetles that lay eggs and hatch into tiny mealworms.
Did you find that thing on LV-426? :)
I did make a quick trip, it was a difficult one put I was able to bring a specimen back for our Feeder Program.

Ah, that's crazy. I've never kept superworms long enough to pupate

After seeing those pics I NEVER want to keep superworms long enough to pupate. Good god, I'm gonna have nightmares tonight. Now I know where the writers of the movie Alien got their inspiration from.
