Im proud to anounce the addition of one of Nevin's Monster bells to the collection. For those of you unfamilar with the project they giant bells. Im not 100% on the age (maybe nevin can help me out on that) but she is already wider then a 6qt container. Enjoy!

Arent they call Liberty Bells???

Good question, i know the giants and super giants are called different names. The monster bells are giant bells and the liberty bells are the super giant bells.

Is she a Giant Bell or Giant het Bell? i know it's stupid question cause it really looks like a Giant Bell. Either way it doesn't matter you have a great looking gecko that you can really enjoy.

Can this be right for a giant?
Average weight gain per month. (7grams) seems normal.
Or do they continue growing longer?
.................Curious.
She is a beauty......

honestly.. this is something im still trying to figure out. they come out huge, than take a little bit to grow till about 4 months... i have one that is 45g and and 4 months now she shot up almost 20 grams in a month, and was sheding once a weekand thats what they all seem to be doing... growing really slow, than just exploding... like i said, this is something im trying to figure out.

From what i have read from others that have posted their workings with Giants that they seem to grow just like any other gecko between 4-6 months they sky rocket with weight gain and then start to taper off around month 14ish.

Is this what you have found so far Nevin?

He/She's beautiful! I love the soft coloring on him/her.

I'd like to get a giant as well for my next gecko. Hopefully he/she won't eat my normal-sized Tiamat! D:

Very Interesting, Thanks.
One of my snow babies started out 2 X as big as other babies..
continued at 13 --- 14 grams per mo.
weight now...at 7 months = 90 grams.
May have to get her a 55 gal. home.
if she doesn't slow down.
take care. HJ
