The grass is called Nardus stricta, it grows on sand soils, e.g. near reilways, I washed it, dried and roasted in oven before making the composition. I will post the pic tomorrow, I have one but it was made during making the terrarium wall and it was not completed yet.
that is a very nice set-up. The only thing that i can think that would help you mask the moist hide, is to cover it with concert, which really isn't that good of an idea. I would let a few other people respond, they should have some great ideas, for you.
I love the background ... Where did you find that? Is it Exoterra?
For the humid hide, rather than masking that tupperware, You could try something else.
Try going to a brick and rock store and you might find some nice hollow rocks that you could use as the hide ... A big hollowed-out piece of wood would work too. Might not hold in the moisture as well as tupperware, but it should be ok.
phearamedusa: this is great! I will do the similar thing! it is very nice I will just paint it with pigment after covering with foam to better fit the background.
