First formula feeding! They are 3 weeks, and are developing razor sharp teeth...and tearing poor Dezi's nipples up...so definitely weaning time! They did well...after they bathed in it for a bit

Teehee. I can attest to razor sharp puppy teeth, my new baby just about pierced my lip the morning after I got her home and I let her out of her kennel. She was trying to be appreciative lol

Cuties. My pup is a German Shepherd/Rotty mix - so imagine a shepherd who's ears never stood, with the big rotty butt, and some HUGE rotty jowls.
I'll always love rottweilers...for their attitude and their meaty look.

The Rottweiler is a very stoic, proud breed...I love their personalities of course how beautiful of a breed they are.

True! Well you have another month to come out before these little guys are gone...heck you might see them around Corvallis after then. Phil from Phil's Transmission is getting a pup from us, as well as a few of his friends.

Alright, an update! PUPPIES ARE 1 MONTH OLD! They are weighing in at 7-8 lbs now...definitely not starving puppies! The weaning is going well, they are eating the "puppy porridge" almost exclusively (Dezi is very happy about this!). They are barking, growling, playing with toys, and being goofy little puppies. They LOVE the cat, and enjoy pestering the heck out of him every chance they get!

They are both European lines. Father is Yugoslavian, and mother is Serbian actually Dezi (the mom) is smaller right now due to breast feeding and of course having puppies! It's amazing how much it takes out of them. She's weaning though, so hopefully will be back to her 95lb self soon.

Some more updated pictures! Our cat (MoMo) is in love with the puppies...I mean seriously in love. He gets in their little play pen at least 10 times a day, cuddles with them, licks them clean, play fights with them, etc. Dezi has almost completely weaned them, so rarely will go in to lay with them...they are LOVING the attention from MoMo.
I call this "Chipmunk"
Here is a good idea of how big these puppies are! This is the little girl crashed next to me on the bed. They are huge now.
She's so incredibly sweet...

Do you like those kitty pics? I just can't believe how much MoMo interacts with them. I mean, he's always loved our dogs, and cuddled with them, but I thought the puppies would be a little much for him. He enjoys it way too much it seems! They definitely let him know when he's being a little too rough though!

Here are the little 5.5 week TERRORS! They are pushing 12 lbs now, and have become newspapers worst enemy, shredding it every chance they get! How can you get mad at those faces though?!?

Well...tonight the first of the puppies is going home to their new mommy. I am going to bawl my eyes out, but of course it's inevitable. Megan (the new mommy) offered to take her boy a few days early because Dezi (mom of the pups) is not doing well. She's VERY stressed out, losing hair now as well as the 20 lbs she's lost. She just sits and cries when the puppies are playing rough. Poor thing is a bundle of nerves. They just got their first vaccinations last night, so they are about as ready as they can be. Doesn't make it any easier!!! The rest will be going home on the 16th.
