I completely agree!! I think the punishment people get from abusing animal is way too small. They deserve to receive the same treatment as how they'd treated the animal! Sick.

I worked at a shelter for a year and saw lots of abuse. I went to a court case once and wanted to beat the guy and his lawyer... He was a drug dealer and had the money to basically wait the courts out until he got what he wanted. Its a shame that animal laws are so hard to inforce. When ever something like that happened there was alot of public support but people always fail to realize that the laws are very gentle and that court cases take alot of time and money to win. The public support usually died down after a few weeks... and they got mad at us for not doing things faster and landing a super harsh settlement on the people. :main_angry:

He is now about 80 pounds (I got him weighing in at 8 pounds!) and is an absolute love! His big beautiful brown eyes make me smile, and I swear he smiles back at me! Angi, I am so glad you adopted this pup and he is doing well! Please post some pics of him!!!

As far as the abuse is concerned, I would like to see this guy serve some time. The more criminal animal abusers that are punished, it might set an example. Heck, I can't even watch that Animal Precinct(?) show on Animal Planet... it makes me cry.

As far as the 90 days not being enough, you never know. I find that karma works pretty well and just maybe it will give him 90 days of a "very affectionate" friend during his stay.
