Well I did it. I cut it short pretty much just like the pic I posted :main_lipsrsealed: I'm still in shock :main_no: and can't get a pic I like so I don't have one to show y'all yet but hopefully soon after I get a chance to play with it a little bit...

So as soon as I walked in my stylist, who is also named Kelly, asks "what are we doing today"... I showed her the pix but said I wanted to make sure she thought my hair texture could pull off the style. She loved it right away. As I was telling her if she didn't think I could achieve this look wiht out a ton of product and styling that I'd rather go with big chunky layers, as she's combing my hair out and proceeds to cut about 6 inches off says "no this will be great"... so much for choice and chickening out ...

The boys are gonna be like OMG when they get home. Neither knew that I was doing it. Hubby syas he likes it a lot and it looks great but he knows if he says any different I'd prob. neuter him, and he always tells me I'm beautiful regardless if I'm half in a coma or dressed to the nines so he bias :main_yes: imo.

In a mood??? Me??? NEVER.... just having a bit of Hair Remorse is all... ma neck feel nekked. My long hair was like a nice warm scarf

Ok so I have a pic or 2 that I don't totally hate... amazingly enough it was my 5 yr old that took them.

Drum Roll ...

The first one was as soon as I got home. The stylist put so much goop in my hair it was makin me sooo itchy, I had to wash it.

Sooo this is what it looked like after I styled it...

... still tryin to figure out how to use the pomaide with out looking like a pocrupine or feeling like I rolled my hair in honey.

So there it is... I'm gonna go hide now for a while until it grows out a bit

It looks fantastic even after you washed the product out! The trick with pomade is to only use a little. Rub it in your hands until its warm then start at just the very ends. I used to have mine a little shorter than that and it took me a couple of weeks to get the pomade styling figured out but once I did it was so easy. She did a great job with the cut because it really does look almost identical in your pre and post wash pictures. Congratulations, it really suits your face.

Ya know what it already IS! Thank the Gods a really nice client of mine made me a super scarf last year that's about 6 feet long so... I got it covered

Thanks for the tip Mel&Keith (which one is it I'm talkin to anyway ). I'll give it another shot. I'm still trying to adjust portion control on my products like shampoo and conditioner too. BIG difference.

Meh I'm gonna kinda treat the new cut like a new dog, ya gotta play with it for a while before you truly get to know what it can do :main_yes:

Thanks... and another Gecko... not yet... I'm still tryin to figure out Eros I didn't go thru THAT much shampoo and conditioner before. A bottle of each a month. :main_yes:
