This Just Hatched- Another Surprise

This has litterally been a season of surprises. The newest surprise is this hatchling we got today. I'll get better pics once he/she gets some rest, but I can say it has two solid red eyes from the look of it. The breeding pair was a RAPTOR from Jason and a BB from Goreptiles. This just goes to show you get what you pay for; buy from good breeders and you get good stuff.

tremper albinos hatch with blazing red eyes , so you have a tremper het DB I would say.

Yeah I also see some yellow pattern on it as well so I would say it's a tremper het DB.

All my tremper hatchlings come out with normal albino eyes. I have had a couple of 5 gram albino hets hatch already, but none like this one. The eyes don't contract when they get into the light, like an aptor's do. They also have the same tint as all my other Raptors. Mom had a yellow tint to her body as well, so the baby's doesn't surprise me. Either way I'm excited.

In that case you may just have Albino eclipse eyes then. I think that's a very cool looking tremper either way.

Thought I would give some updated pics now that it has settled a little bit. I have noticed the tops of the eyes have really "blue'd up," and the red in the eyes still glistens (even though the picture doesn't). I was wondering if anyone has ever hatched one like this with the white and the yellow in it. I really like the pattern this has, and it is going to be fun using this dude to teach with. One of my kids brought in a picture of the original DB and pined it on my board two years ago. He'll be excited if this one proves out.

I was thinking(just a thought) maybe the BB was made with a tremper het raptor and you own a BB that has 1/ 512 or whatever odds to be het eclipse and you hit the genetics lottery!!!!
