It's rare but occasionally regrown tails come back in weird ways. Maybe it broke a few times even...

I think I read about i, and it partially dropped its tail and then grew a new one something along those lines.

Well when we got him at the pet store, the employee stressed him out enough to lose his tail , 2nd time lost his tail again but never fully came off, so when the new one grew, it just intertwined. lol
