Undigested Mealworms?

I tried to do a search, but couldn't find anything. I just went to check on one of my geckos and found this disturbing clump of mealworms in the tank. There were probably about 8 of them all bunched up and dead. They were stuck together and at the end was some white poop. Somehow my gecko passed this gigantic clump of mealworms while pooping. It definitely must have hurt and I'm assuming it's not normal. This is the first problem I've had with her. Does anyone know if this is normal and if it means she's having health problems and what I can do???? Thank you!

Make sure his temps on his hot side is up to help him digest better. mealies have a hard outer shell that can be hard to digest so their belly temo is very important.

Well, she's sort of new so I don't have her in the regular set up like my other geckos. I've had her in this separate tank for about two months. I just have a store bought under tank heater and an above heat lamp. I figured that would be okay just until I can move her in with the other geckos. I've never had a problem with her and mealworms until just now. I did start giving her bigger ones. I was giving her really tiny ones, even though she was big enough for larger ones. The other night I have her medium sized mealworms. I don't know how to check the temps for the under take heater. It's just one of those ones where you stick it to the bottom of the glass.

You need a thermostat or rheostat. They can be found at your local petstore(the chain stores) for sure. If you dont have one, the mat can get WAYY to hot(in the 120's *F) I would look into one of those. If its still young, temp fluctuation or the heat might have been too much for him/her idk

She may have thrown up because she ate bigger mealworms she's not used to. Keep with the mediums, though she may be able to get used to the large ones. I feed pretty young babies the large mealworms.

Over 90% of the time (yep, I made that up!! :D) this is due to incorrect
temp.
You need to accuratly test the floor temps in several places on both
sides and esp where your gex spend most of their time.

If you have already done this, and it checks out, than it may be caused
by stress.

i saw the same thing in my tank once a long time ago, temp. were fine and i looked on her poop rock and there was the pee slime and then a FULL superworm, the super worm wasn't too large, nothing was irregular other than the fact that she pooped with in 5-10 mins after me feeding her, the food went right through her !! It only happened that one time... this was months ago, and alll my leos have been fine since and before!
