Very Confused

So......I witnessed two of my geckos "doing the deed" several times 2 weeks ago, and had assumed that I would start seeing signs of egg growth over time. Well I checked my females underside and there do not appear to be any eggs forming......and the male no longer seems to have any interest in her. Is it still safe to assume that she is going to give birth? She was definitely ovulating at the time and still appears to be, but I can not see any egglike formations..........could it just be that it wil take longer for her to show signs, or could it just be that I don't know exactly what I am looking for>......ths is my first experience with Gecko breeding.

After 2 weeks, generally you start to see eggs forming in the belly, although according to my veterinarian, they can be gravid for up to 2 months. Usually the general rule if you don't know is to separate them for a week and re-introduce them, preferably at night. He will more than likely want to breed again, and if she doesn't let him she's probbably gravid. If she does, well hey then let him try it again.

If he isn't even trying does that generally mean she is already pregnant?

Sorry for this but........the female in question just had what I would consider to be diahreah.

Get a fecal done and make sure your not dealing with parasites. Parasites will complicate the breeding process, and are obviously dangerous to the health of your leos.
