i Made made these Rock hides and Cup holders, you can Basically make ANYTHING (Next will be tree stumps and log hides) but for this Subject i wanted to work on Rock/stone looking hide, caves, and cup holders for my crested geckos. they look pretty real, and my reptiles love them they take about 2 weeks to make and are Pretty cheap compared to buying a Pet store hide, Here are some photos of me making them and them Done as my reptiles are using them! Let me know if you wanna know how to make them!

Dipping the rocks in to the mix to make them strong!

Before!

After!

Painting a few
(This cave hide am still working on, Has a lid and everything! will show photos when its done)

After mixing sheds, Adding colors, getting a Old rock with Some moss on a few, really trying to add some detail i have this!

Below is this bowl being used by jade!

After working on them here is the reptiles using them!

Chili Wouldn't stop climbing on it! it a hide for baby Leopard geckos and snakes, Lol or adult gecko that think they can fit in it

and these things are GREAT either for leopard gecko or crested geckos or anything! I wanted to make something to Hold the bowls in place since my crested gecko Push over the cups in there cage and every time i clean i have to redo the whole cage picking up all the Crested gecko diet, you can Hang this or let it sit on the ground. i pop in a little Cup in to the holder and when it comes time for cleaning i just pick the cup out of the hide and replace the food, its that easy! (i will have more that look like tree branches for hanging, or logs, with holders and they can climb in to the log for a hide!)

If you guys have any idea you want to see let me know, Be are creative at you wanna be!

Wow, they look awesome! I'd definitely be interested in knowing how you do it. I have a boring margarine tub for a humid hide, and I want to make a cave or something to go around it, but I'm not sure what to use.

Great thinking, they look awesome. I use a slightly different method to make things for my geckos and i plan to sell projects soon. I have many photos on my website of previous projects.
