lol i got the idea from my mom. she told me stories about my grandfather using old tv's and turning them into bird cages. so i thought why not a gecko cage!? lol i took out the screen and all te elecs and scrobed it inside and out with a weak water bleach solution. then i painted it with acrlic and then added 5 sealer coats. i made the hides ( can you tell!!?? LOL). the lights are on timers the normal light for day time and the other for night. know all i have to do is get a few more tiles and it will be finished!! i hope my girls like it!!

Wow that's amazing!! How difficult/costly was that? That's very crafty :)

well if you have never done something like this( working with foam, paints, and other stuff like that) i give it a 3 out of 5. all the tools i used were a screw driver, drill, paint, sealer, hot glue gun, knife, and a chop saw. made the second level and ramp out of a peice of scrap wood. glued the screen with the hot glue gun. painted with spray can paints, used mod pudge sealer. here is the link to the site that i found out how to make the hides

as for cost i had to buy the paint, sealer, and the stuff to make the hides( grout, and paints) and the tile. everything else i either had or found. found the tv in a rental house that the poeple left behide.

im giving it a week to air out really good! i have wiped it down several times but im really making sure it is good before i put in the ladys! lol

thanks everyone! it really makes me happy to know other people like my work! lol and my mom says it was her idea so were is her credit! lolol thanks again guys!!!
