Jeff RI must be tough on cutivation / possession with intent and so on. I bet if a person gets caught in the other lower 48, the best the courts would get on them would be 3-5 and out in 27 months

I'm not proud of this, but definately no ashamed.. 1989 I went to jail at age 18(made 100k bail 3 weeks later and beat all charges) Charges were not drug related

Tanga is not a criminal in my eyes. Granted it was against the TOS, it's not my place to comment on her being banned. On the other hand, I know quite a few cancer patients, aids patients, and other terminally ill people who choose to medicate with marijuana to help with some pain or to increase their appetites rather than take something man made that requires a list of other pills for the side affects. I don't believe Lani deserves persecution. :smash: Which one of us is a judge? Has it crossed anyone's mind that maybe she is not just trying to get high? Please be more compassionate. This is just my opinion, don't stone me to death. Alcohol and cigs, which are both perfectly legal, kill more people daily than marijuana ever could. I also don't believe that smoking marijuana makes you an idiot by any means. Reefer Madness is so retro. I firmly believe that the only reason marijuana is illegal is because the government can't figure out how to control it. Once they figure out how to get their piece of the pie it will be legal. Not long ago there were several Medical Marijuana Dispenseries in my city, the only reason any of them were shut down was because the IRS wanted their chunk of the profits. Is it just my CA politics?

Ken, I agree with you that smoking pot isn't the worst thing ever. Nobody has ever OD'd on pot (alone), and as you said, cigs and alcohol have killed more people than ever has, or ever will, IMHO.

Regardless of what I personally believe, pot smoking's illegal (in most places), and it's foolish (IMHO) to post - or even TAKE - pictures of oneself doing ANYTHING illegal, or even borderline socially acceptable, and posting them to a website (or sending them via email). In this day and age, the internet is forever, man. Employers have their pick of the litter, and if you think they aren't looking on facebook, twitter, or just googling someone's name to find out what their past (or current) behavior looks like, think again. We recently had someone almost lose their job over stupid pictures (not illegal pictures, but imagine a Nevin-esque type photo - sorry Nevin!!) that she posted on facebook. Whether I think that this is right, wrong, or otherwise is irrelevant -it's what happens nowadays, and it's foolish to think that it can't happen to any one of us.

That's all I'm sayin'.
