You mean Plymouth right?

I'm just messin with you. That is actually a very nice looking Neon. My wife has an '01 (base model), I can't stand it. It has less then 50K miles on it but it drives like it has 250K. I hae honestly never heard of the ACR. I've seen the R/T and SRT's.

I'm not sure what their specs are but I just look at that fact that all subaru's have all wheel drive that's been tested for years. The Evo is the only "car" that Mitsubishi makes with all wheel drive. I think the Subaru has some different drivetrain options when compared to the Evo. I'll have to go look in one of my Car and Driver magazines. For me, I test drive it. I don't really go off of what's printed in the magazine when it comes to buying. It's how I connect with the car, that's how I make my decision.

I had the WRX STi in mind, but I really don't like the new design. I used to love the older 2004/2005 look of the WRX's, but the new design is nothing to gawk at IMHO. Knowing that the former owners of the 2004 WRX's probably pounded the living daylights out of their car I wouldn't feel safe buying a used one.:main_laugh:

An ACR is a Dodge Factory autocross prepped Neon. It has all the power of a RT with less weight and nicer suspension. I have a rare one that is no options, even came with no radio or speakers.

2004 Ford Ranger with FX4 Level II Off-Road Package

Mods:
- 33x10.50x15 BFG Mud-Terrains
- Eagle Alloy Series 185 15x8 wheels
- Race Car Dynamics' torsion bar to coilover conversion 5 inch lift kit
- 700lbs hypercoil coilovers to replace RCD coilover springs
- Deaver F31 7-pack 2.5 inch lift rear leaf springs (coupled with RCD rear shackle allows me to not have lift blocks, thus very little to no more axle wrap)
- super lift (stupid lift) front driveshaft to correct driveshaft angles from RCD lift

Minor, insignificant interior mods:
- explorer overhead console
- black mustang dome light (original version, not the new narrow dome light seen in mustangs)
- modified radio bezel to accept a 2nd fog lamp switch to power my KC lights and maintain an OEM interior look

Recent pics...

Upcoming mod:
manualt-casestuff.jpg

manual t-case conversion using 2002/2003 Ranger FX4 Off-Road/ FX4 Level II components to make interior OEM.

Oh and prior to lifting, on stock setup (stock tires were 31x10.50x15 BFG All-Terrains from factory), worst mileage was 16 mpg, best was 21 mpg.
Before lifting, but running 33x10.50x15 BFG Mud-Terrains, worst 15 mpg, best 22 mpg
After lifting, running same tires: worst 14 mpg, best 22 mpg...and current winter fuel blend is killing my mileage and lowering my average. :(

2004 Kia Rio/1992 Plymouth Voyager Depending on what keys I grab or what one rob is using....and honestly, the Voyager runs like it's brand new! Over 160K miles on one engine...and it's quieter than the Rio!!!

I'm sorry to report that I might be selling my jacked up xterra. The gas mileage is getting unbearable, and with the economy beng so uncertain I'm going to play it easy and get something more economical. I'm really eyeing on the new '08 nissan altima coupe, 'tis sweet. I'll be missing that 4 wheel drive in the snow though! (and the occasional off-roading of course) ;)

The new '08 nissan altima. I definitely plan on turning this bad boy into a ricer with some mods, not too drastric though, probably just some exhaust upgrades and a little tinty on the windows.

My son and daughter just got new Altimas, very nice car. My son's 27 and went from an '05 Evo with mods to the Altima, he misses the Evo but is in line for the GTR Skyline. The new Supra should be pretty cool also.

Yeah, it's cool to have one of those rare ones. It's a real sleeper, you could surprise alot of people with the capabilities of that little beauty.

From what Ive read, the gear ratios are what really make it move compared to a normal neon (non-srt4). Definately a surprise.

Ya the trans is geared at 3.94 but the Magnum HO motor helps it out alot also. Last weighed it was only 2359 lbs. I would love to own an SRT ACR but right now its not in my budget.

I have my first car.. it is a 1992 Geo Storm hatchback... there is not very many of those.. and i plan on to pimp my ride :-D

I want to have the carpet replaced, the seats reupholstered, the dashboard replaced, have new windshield, have new paint job.. probably some kind of burnt orange color, have new wheels with cool rims.. probably 16 or 17 if i can get away with that size in my car...and have my tierod or whatever it's called stablized and speedometer cable fixed...

here is my car.. course it don't look that good right now... with the ice storms, and snows we had for the past two months, my car is dirty dirty.. need a bath big time and i have no hubcaps on the car.. took it off cause my car was missing one and it was bugging me so i took the rest off :)

My 2001 Mazda Miata LS

I love it, but it's getting to be a pain lugging herp goods and mountain bikes in/on such a little bitty car, LOL

Hopefully in ~2wks I'll be making that wheel gap go away =\

Ive always heard that, while lacking power, the Miata is actually a good fun to drive little roadster. Pretty much true?

Again, the gear ratios come into play. It's geared waaayyy high, so you get some decent pull out of the little 1.8. 60mph in 5th gear is just shy of 3500rpm, if that gives a clue as to the gearing ^_~

It is, indeed, VERY fun to drive. The suspension is pretty well set-up (even the "standard" suspension), but of course could use some love. In fact, this is my second Miata. The first was a 1990, also black. My old one had a Flyin' Miata Stage 1.5 suspension kit on it, and a Goodwin Racing Roadster Sport exhast on it. The new one has Silveline Duals.

The 90:

Wow, they didn't change very much between those years. Not complaining, just noting lol.

I bet that would be a fun car with a 2zz under the hood.

Being as I work for Toyota...I would rather NOT have a 2ZZ ^_~

But it's not Toyota, it's Elise ;)

More in terms of power/powerband. A 350 swap works too, but goodbye weight distribution lol.
