What Kind of Car Do You Drive?

Hey Steve, regardless of how I feel about the gas mileage, it looks like I'm not going to be selling it anyway. I put up several ads in the local paper, along with color pictures and a featured vehicle page, and didn't get one phone call. That was 4 weeks ago. I highly doubt anyone is going to want to buy an SUV seeing the market has all eyes on cars/hybrids.
I've put a lot of money into it and I know now that I would never get what I spent back. Looks like I'll be keepin' her after all.

P.S. - Loooove the avatar. ;)

As of today I drive a 2008 Toyota Highlander Limited. This is by far the nicest car either of us have ever owned! As you can see in the picture, I'm very happy about it. LOL

My work car is either an Impala a charger or a crown victoria. My volunteer work truck is an expedition, and my car is a trailblazer.

My son and daughter just got new Altimas, very nice car. My son's 27 and went from an '05 Evo with mods to the Altima, he misses the Evo but is in line for the GTR Skyline. The new Supra should be pretty cool also.

Sounds like your boy likes fun cars! He'll really enjoy the Skyline!

Wow, that is a BEAUTIFUL car Mel! The black is probably the best color you could have gotten. I love how you caught the sun sparkle in it! lol

Thanks Matt! Our other car is gray and I'm really bad about keeping it clean so I figured getting a black car would force me to wash it. So far it's confirming the weather man's report about tree pollen being in the "extreme" levels.

haha 98XJSport...how'd I know you were a Jeep guy? lol

I have a 1998 5.9 Limited ZJ (Grand Cherokee).....deep slate in color
Up Country coils and 1" spacers, Borla exhaust, FIPK, etc. etc.

As you can tell, I am a Jeep girl. And, no, my truck does not stay on the pavement. I live in northern Michigan....what the heck else do ya think we do around here? ;)

Oh, yeah, and as far as gas mileage....try 11-12 mpg...premium only, baby! :main_rolleyes: It's worth it. I JUST HAD to have the 360 V8 (hence, the 1998...the only year it was available. They only made 14,000 and some change of them. ;))

Will post some pics when I get a chance.

The 360 ZJ! Its one of my dream jeeps, sooo rare! Must go great, too:D I don't think Ive ever seen more than 2 in my life, both stock.

I just flew back from North Carolina, I saw no less than 3 clean full size jeeps (wagoneers, etc.) that could have had the 360, Ive always wanted a big jeep ;) But my XJ has been a good balance.

What size tires you running?

I always like a good, classic FSJ.........the old 360 was pretty sweet.

I'm running 30" Yokohama Geolander ATs..........I am not a fan of stuffing the largest tire you can in there and then having them rub. I hate that. And since I do a fair amount of wheelin', I prefer a lot of travel. I was thinking about Goodyear Wrangler MTRs, but I'm not so sure they'd wear that well, as my Jeep's my daily driver, as well.

Ive been trying to figure out how you could put on anything bigger than a 31 or so on a ZJ, the wheel well openings don't seem like they would take it. An XJ can't either, unless you trim them up a bit.

Ive heard goot things about the MTR not sure about tire wear. Horrible in the wet stuff, though.

Just realized I moved my pics and broke the links, so I might as well post again :D

Cool pics, Ryan! That last one is awesome!

Here's one pic of my truck.....quality isn't great (camera phone), and please excuse where I had to black out one of my lovely friends' inappropriate gestures from the back window. lol I decided to drive my truck up onto a dock when we were bored one night (water was frozen, of course).
