what kinds of fruit do "fruit geckos" like?

so when i got my gecko at the pet store, they said he eats fruit.... but they didn't specify what type of fruit, how to prepare it, etc. someone help!

if its a leopard gecko they dont eat fruit, but you probably already new this. But if it isnt why are you posting in the leopard gecko part :/

Haha ugh!! I can't believe it, I was fooled by a pet store employee. And I quote "oh, him? No he doesn't prefer crickets or worms, he eats fruit". I'm glad I got him as soon as I could. They would have been trying to feed a leo fruit for...ever. Ugh. Thanks!

I HAVE heard of some leos liking fruit, but it's definitely something I wouldn't feed them all the time. They are designed for eating insects. That employee was full of crap.
